Maximum resources deployed to investigate Guzyr's car theft

Yesterday we reported that First Deputy Prosecutor General Vladimir Guzyr resigned. It has now emerged that record resources have been allocated to investigate the theft of his son's Land Cruiser, which was stolen on 23 July.

Three investigators from the Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General's Office and three prosecutors have been assigned to the case, which was opened under Article 289, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unlawful appropriation of a vehicle committed by a group of persons).

 The Toyota Land Cruiser was stolen on 23 July at approximately 4:15 am in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, on Vasylkivska Street, from the son of then First Deputy Prosecutor V. Guzyr.

It is worth noting that this specific vehicle attracted significant interest from activists. Many publicly questioned how the prosecutor's son could afford such a vehicle. The car has now disappeared.
