Young honour guard member feels unwell at Maidan

A parade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is currently taking place at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. As during the presidential inauguration last year, one of the young men from the honour guard suddenly felt unwell. The intense heat prevailing in Kyiv these days and the nervous tension took their toll.

At first, they tried to revive him with water and ammonia, then quietly led him away from Maidan under the arms), - well-known presenter Marichka Padalka reported from her Facebook page.

The young man was taken away to provide him with the necessary first aid. Several ambulance teams are on standby at Maidan.
