Moldovan media report Saakashvili appointed prime minister

New Odesa Governor Mikhail Saakashvili is reportedly set to be appointed Prime Minister of Moldova soon, according to Moldovan media.

The former Georgian president himself stated that he is not a «госслужащий по вызову» (on-call civil servant), that he loves Ukraine, and that positions in other countries do not appeal to him. He is ready to give his life for our country.

Meanwhile, rumours are also circulating in Ukraine that Saakashvili is one of the main candidates for the premiership, replacing Arseniy Yatsenyuk. In addition, many predict his participation and victory in the presidential elections in Georgia.
