Fuel oil from two Russian tankers that sank in the Kerch Strait has reached the Sea of Azov coast in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region. This was announced by collaborator Balytskyi.

He stated that contaminated areas have currently been recorded on the Sea of Azov coast. In particular, a 14.5-kilometre stretch contaminated with fuel oil, containing fragments of solid matter, was found on the Berdiansk Spit.

In addition, another contamination covering an area of five square metres, also with small fragments of fuel oil, was found on the shore of the Peresyp Spit.
