Musk entrusts DOGE secrets to former hacker

19-year-old Edward Koristin, who recently joined Musk's team in the DOGE department, does not have an impeccable reputation in the field of cybersecurity. 

He previously made headlines in a scandal involving the leak of confidential data, which led to his dismissal from previous jobs. However, as reported in the news, this did not prevent him from securing a position in the new team; on the contrary, his past "achievements" may have worked in his favour.

After being fired, Koristin openly claimed that he still had access to the company's servers, which caused surprise among his former colleagues. Many are wondering how a person with such a questionable past could gain access to government systems. 

Senator Ron Wyden expressed concern over such staffing decisions, stating that granting access to vital federal programmes to such individuals is like "handing the keys to a bank to robbers and wishing them luck".
