Personal data of Trump's top officials exposed in public

Personal contacts and credentials of senior US officials from the administration of Donald Trump have been made publicly available. This was reported by the German publication Spiegel.

The following were found in the leaked database:

• The phone number and email of White House adviser Waltz,

• Contact details of the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard,

• Work and personal accounts of the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Some of the leaked numbers remain linked to messengers — WhatsApp, Instagram, Signal, which may pose potential security risks.

Cyber threat and potential consequences

Experts note that such leaks can become a tool for cyberattacks and targeted phishing. Access to the contacts of senior officials opens up potential opportunities for hacking, blackmail and manipulation.
