Red Cross begins supplying condoms to Russian prisoners of war

According to media reports, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided condoms to Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine.

 This measure, according to the organisation, is intended to ensure hygienic conditions in case the detainees have a need for intimate relations. Such steps have sparked discussion, as the organisation has also secured improvements in other aspects of the prisoners' detention conditions.

Conditions and improvements for prisoners
In addition, the Red Cross has achieved a relaxation of detention conditions for Russian prisoners of war. They complained about the absence of Olivier salad on the menu and a shortage of vitamins. In response to these complaints, vitamins were provided to them, marking another step towards improving their situation.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers in captivity are being mocked and tortured.
