Congressman Casten condemns US-Russia meeting

US Democratic Congressman Sean Casten sharply criticised recent talks between US representatives and the Russian side, expressing outrage at the very fact of the dialogue. He compared the situation to that of a victim and an aggressor, accusing US authorities of excessive diplomacy.

Harsh statement directed at Washington

Commenting on the meeting between the US Secretary of State and Russian representatives, Casten stated that discussing Ukraine's suffering in such a format is unacceptable.

According to the Democrat, such rhetoric undermines trust in the US as a strategic partner of Ukraine and calls into question Washington's determination to support allies amid the ongoing conflict.
