Trump team no longer expects ceasefire within six months

The team of newly elected US President Donald Trump believes that significant progress in resolving the conflict unleashed by Russia against Ukraine should not be expected for at least six months.

According to The Washington Post, during his presidential campaign, Trump claimed he could end the war in 24 hours, while his special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, expressed hope for a solution within 100 days.

Nevertheless, opposing views are being voiced within Trump's circle. According to sources, some advisers have stated that significant changes in resolving the conflict should not be expected for at least the next six months.
