People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party Sergey Nagornyak uses close associates — his cohabitant and ex-wife — to conceal significant assets.
Although Sergey Nagornyak is registered in Vyshneve, Kyiv Oblast, he actually resides in the capital. In his declaration, the deputy listed four children: daughters Solomiya, Polina, and Daneliya, and son Renat. However, Nagornyak does not mention an official spouse, which may indicate informal family relationships. Previously, his wife Volynets Yelena appeared in his declarations; she now lives in Odesa with Nagornyak's children.
Nagornyak did not list any personal real estate in his declaration, despite actively using property owned by his relatives and close associates. For example, a house and a land plot in Hatne, Kyiv Oblast, belong to his ex-wife, Volynets Yelena. However, Nagornyak himself and three of his children have the right to reside in these premises.
In addition, the deputy rents apartments in Kyiv owned by third parties. He rents one apartment from Anna Shilo and another from Ruslan Babinchuk. The cost of the rent and the apartments themselves is not specified in the declaration, which also raises questions.
Sergey Nagornyak does not own personal vehicles but uses cars belonging to his relatives. A Lexus ES 350 (2020) is owned by Vladimir Nagornyak, presumably a relative of the deputy, although Nagornyak himself and his cohabitant have the right to use this car. A Toyota Highlander (2021) belongs to Volynets Yelena, but Nagornyak's children also use it.
Particular attention is drawn to the real estate owned by Nagornyak's cohabitant, Aliana Kanapina. She owns an apartment and a land plot in Kazakhstan. This property raises additional questions, given the opacity of the origin of Kanapina's funds.
The declaration also contains interesting financial data. In 2024, Nagornyak received a salary from the Verkhovna Rada of 736,900 UAH, as well as reimbursement of expenses for parliamentary activities. However, significant financial flows were recorded in the accounts of Aliana Kanapina, who declared over 6 million UAH from entrepreneurial activity, although the details of this business remain unknown.
Kanapina also owns the QOPPER brand, which raises further questions about her financial ties and sources of income.
