How Ksenia and Vladyslav Sushko travelled abroad during the war

Despite the restrictions introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in January 2023, which limited state officials' ability to travel abroad, Ksenia Sushko continued to leave the country regularly. 

According to information obtained from BlackBox OSINT, after returning from the UAE in March 2022, she travelled abroad on several further occasions. Between March 2022 and September 2024, Ksenia crossed the Ukrainian border nine times, with each trip lasting an average of five to 14 days.

Her husband, Vladyslav Sushko, despite being a military service subject and also subject to travel restrictions, made two trips abroad in 2023 — in May and November. The reasons for his departures are not disclosed, which raises questions and the need for further investigation.

Such a number of foreign trips undoubtedly requires significant financial expenditure. And surprisingly, these costs are not reflected in the Sushko family's financial situation. 

Despite relatively modest incomes, they continue to travel and even save money. This gives grounds to assume that Ksenia's and her husband's expenses may be covered by unofficial sources of income, the origin of which remains unknown.
