Disappearance abroad: Where did Ukrainian musicians go?

Against the backdrop of scandals over the tightening of exit rules for men of conscription age, the question is increasingly being raised about those who left but did not return. As reported by Informator.UA, among such artists is the Poltava ensemble Mountain Breeze, previously supported by Andriy Danylko, as well as the singer Vasya Demchuk.

Music critic Roman Buturlakin clarifies that the musicians left the country under the pretext of charity events. However, their social media contain no direct mentions of the purpose of the trip or of returning to their homeland.

Strict control by the Ministry of Culture

A few days ago, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine significantly tightened the issuance of permits for artists and volunteers participating in international events. 

This caused dissatisfaction in the music community, as many ensembles and performers earn their living precisely from foreign performances. However, many were collecting donations abroad for the Ukrainian army.
