Elon Musk proposes spending reduction programme

Elon Musk has proposed an ambitious programme to reduce US spending. The billionaire, who also heads the recently established Department of Government Efficiency, has initiated a project that envisages cutting the country's daily expenditure by $4 billion. In his view, this measure will allow the budget deficit to be reduced from two trillion dollars to one trillion dollars.

Musk is confident that such a step will help achieve zero inflation next year. He emphasises that there is a large number of government positions that can be automated using simple macros with just a mouse, which, he says, is surprising.
