Finnish company Insta develops new drone for Ukraine

Finnish company Insta has developed a new drone, the Steel Eagle, capable of firing bullets for Ukraine, Yle reports.

According to the outlet, the "Steel Eagle" project was carried out in close collaboration with Ukrainian specialists. The drone is equipped with a radio signal control system and a relaying function for data transmission. It also features pilot goggles with a first-person mode, allowing for a full view from the drone's perspective.

The new drone's distinctive feature is its unique warhead, which includes explosives and steel and tungsten bullets. This ammunition is capable of penetrating the roof of a standard or lightly armoured vehicle from a height of several dozen metres.

Drone production has only just begun; prior to this, tests were conducted on prototype models.
