Filatov hands out free water

Ukrainian People's Deputy Boris Filatov, who intends to run for mayor of Dnipro in the autumn, is winning the city's votes using a tried-and-true method. The deputy has launched a cheap bus for residents of one of the city's districts, costing just 1 hryvnia.

Now, tents of Filatov's charitable foundation have appeared on the streets of Dnipro, where people are handed out free water, supposedly out of concern for the city's population.

It is worth noting that another candidate, Zagid Krasnov, has also launched 1-hryvnia minibuses. Svitlana Yefymtseva went even further, launching a free minibus.

City residents are already joking that the longer these candidates struggle to reach the coveted position, the better it is for the city itself, as once they get the mayor's chair, they will surely forget about the citizens.

Recall that in Chernihiv, another candidate from the "Ucrop" party, Filatov's colleague Hennadiy Korbach, is "buying" voters' votes with buckwheat.
