The tariffs are expected to cover not only electronics assembled in China but also computer chips produced by Taiwanese companies. According to the source, the rate could reach 100%.

Experts believe that such a move could significantly impact global supply chains, given Taiwan's key role in semiconductor production. At the same time, this step demonstrates increased economic pressure from the US on Asian electronics and microchip manufacturers.
