Daughter of Nezavisimaya Gazeta deputy editor turns out to be a thief

Valeria Shpakova, the daughter of the deputy editor-in-chief of Nezavisimaya Gazeta, turned out to be a thief.

The young woman stole goods worth nearly 200,000 rubles from a luxury boutique.

On the eve of her birthday, Valeria decided to visit the prestigious Lanvin boutique to look for an outfit for the celebration.

She chose a dress costing over 100,000 rubles. She also liked a necklace worth 70,000 rubles. She carefully placed all of this in her bag and headed to her car, bypassing the boutique's checkout counter.

The missing items were quickly discovered. The store's security guards chased after Valeria and caught up with the young woman in the car park. Subsequently, security called the police, and a theft report was filed.

A criminal case has now been opened against Valeria Shpakova. She has already signed a non-departure undertaking.
