No demobilisation in the near future

Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, noted that even if a law on demobilisation is adopted, mass discharge from military service will not take place in the next three months.

According to him, although the Ministry of Defence may prepare a bill on demobilisation and submit it to the Verkhovna Rada within three months, the likelihood of its adoption remains uncertain.

The MP emphasised that the issue of adopting such a bill requires more detailed consideration. Previously, the Verkhovna Rada Committee tasked the Cabinet of Ministers with preparing the relevant bill.
