DPR officials ask to open a Ukrainian bank in their territory

Just a few days ago, head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko publicly stated that ATMs would soon start operating in the republic, that all necessary equipment and software for this are already in place, and that they will be completely independent from Ukraine.

Today, information emerged that the leadership of the so-called republic is attempting to negotiate the opening of a branch of some Ukrainian bank in the DPR, while solemnly promising to guard and protect it from looting.

However, the proposers tactfully remained silent about what happened to banks during the occupation of the territories. Moreover, it is simply ridiculous to trust such assurances, as it is unlikely that anyone would entrust their money to people who regularly violate the Minsk agreements.

True, there are those who believe that the Privat group will manage to reach an agreement with the terrorists.

At the same time, many understand that under the guise of cash, anything can be transported in armoured cars.
