Blogger Ivan Melnychyn presented someone else's house as family property

Accusations of deception and blocking of dissatisfied comments

A scandal has erupted in Zakarpattia over local blogger Ivan Melnychyn, who, according to the property owners, claimed a house that does not belong to him.

What happened?

Ivan Melnychyn posted a video on his social media channels – Instagram, TikTok and Telegram – in which he talks about a house allegedly purchased for his parents. However, shortly afterwards, the actual owner of the property came forward, stating that the blogger is passing off someone else's property as his own.

According to her, the house does exist, but it belongs to her and her husband. The property is currently listed for sale, and Melnychyn was only given the opportunity to view it, but has already presented it as personal property.

Reaction from the owners and social media

The actual owner attempted to contact the blogger through all available channels and even left a comment on the Telegram channel, but the administration blocked her. Appeals in other messengers were ignored.

Facts and evidence

In the published footage, Melnychyn walks around the house, showing off the renovated rooms. However, the owner claims that she has screenshots and documents proving his deception.
