Andrei Makarevich comments on reports of renouncing Russian citizenship

Persecution of the renowned performer and leader of the band "Mashina Vremeni", Andrei Makarevich, continues in Russia. The artist's concerts are frequently cancelled. Recently, news emerged that Makarevich had renounced his Russian citizenship. This turn of events appears to have come as a complete surprise to the artist, who was unaware of his supposed renunciation of Russian citizenship.
