Famous photographer Alexander Ktitorchuk sentenced to 12 years
Famous photographer Alexander Ktitorchuk has been sentenced to 12 years and 10 months in prison for the rape and corruption of underage girls. The trial lasted four years.
Ktitorchuk's arrest in November 2020 caused a wide public outcry among the capital's elite. He worked with celebrities such as Bohdan Stupka, Tina Karol, Olya Polyakova, Skrebin, Potap and Nastya, Vlad Yama, Natalya Mogilevskaya, Viktor Pavlik, Loboda, Meikher, and Podkopeeva.
The photographer also participated in the projects "Shans.Model.ua" and "Ot patanki do panyanki" (From a Tomboy to a Lady), and was a frequent guest at social events. Ktitorchuk owned the "ArtPrichal" gallery, located near the Harbour Bridge in Kyiv.
In court, prosecutors proved that between 2017 and 2020, Ktitorchuk systematically committed acts of violence and corrupted underage girls when they came for photo shoots. The 60-year-old photographer pleaded guilty.
