Results of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters, where he heard a report on the current situation along the front line. In his social media post, the head of state emphasised that Ukrainian military personnel continue to conduct active defence and are gradually pushing back Russian occupiers.

Enemy losses and tactical situation

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian fighters are effectively stopping attempts by Russian forces to advance and infiltrate. The President stressed that despite the significant numerical superiority of the enemy in certain sections of the front, where Russian forces outnumber Ukrainian troops six to eight times, Ukraine is achieving the necessary results.

«Тільки в районах Добропілля щодня росіяни втрачають тільки вбитими близько двох сотень осіб. Багато у них і важкопоранених» ("Only in the Dobropillia area, Russians lose about two hundred killed every day. They also have many seriously wounded"), Zelensky noted.

He added that Ukraine's positions on the front this year are the strongest in a long time.

Recognition of combat units

Separately, the President thanked the military for carrying out combat tasks and the effective use of weapons. He recognised the efforts of the following units:

  • 12th Special Operations Brigade "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine;
  • 1st Presidential Brigade "Bureviy";
  • 95th Air Assault Brigade;
  • 413rd "Reid" Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces;
  • 104th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade;
  • "Phoenix" border detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
