In a conversation with journalist Piers Morgan, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his conviction that the Starlink shutdown was the result of deliberate decisions. The head of state emphasised that such actions contradict the principles that should prevail between partners, and suggested that Elon Musk was aware of the consequences of his actions.

War against business

The Ukrainian leader underlined that for his country this is a war, while for others it is a business. Zelensky called such a disparity in approaches unfair.

Intentionality of actions

During the interview, Morgan asked the president whether he believed that Musk had deliberately reduced the speed of Starlink with the aim of causing harm to Ukraine. Zelensky answered clearly:
