Counterfeit money sold on Instagram

You can find just about anything on the internet. Currently, it is easy to purchase counterfeit money in large quantities on the social network Instagram.

Certain enterprising "businessmen" have literally flooded the pages of numerous top bloggers and show business stars with offers to buy counterfeit banknotes of various denominations. The entrepreneurs do not openly state the price, suggesting that interested parties contact them via direct messages.

Most often, the cost of counterfeit banknotes does not exceed 20% of their face value. However, in this case, the businessmen are offering to sell "money" for 30-50%.

The criminals' arsenal includes currency from various countries, including dollars, the Ukrainian hryvnia, and the ruble.
