Mikhail Zadornov has died

It was announced today, 10 November, that satirist Mikhail Zadornov has died after a prolonged illness. The comedian passed away from a brain tumour at the age of 70.

The artist had been undergoing treatment for an oncological condition for a long time. However, in the summer of this year, he voluntarily refused medical procedures and the intake of heavy medications that yielded no results, while exhausting Zadornov and draining his remaining strength.

The satirist preferred to spend his final months with his family rather than in a medical facility. A few days before his death, Mikhail Zadornov received the sacrament of confession.

Numerous artists and stage colleagues had spoken about the satirist's critical health condition.
