Incident in the Bielany district

Late on the evening of 10 October, an attack on passengers of bus route No. 755 took place in the Bielany district of Warsaw. The perpetrator, armed with a knife, attacked people and then managed to disappear before the arrival of law enforcement officers.

Details of the incident and the condition of the victims

According to the Main Directorate of the Warsaw Police, a report of a conflict near the Prozy stop was received at 23:23. It was established that the altercation began while the vehicle was in motion. The attacker inflicted stab and slash wounds to the neck and chest of two men, aged 22 and 42.

Both victims were urgently taken to hospital. As stated by Jakub Filipiak, a representative of the city police press service, medical staff managed to stabilise the patients' condition. The men's lives are not in danger.

Search for the suspect

The motives behind the attacker's actions are currently unknown, and the police are not disclosing details of the conflict. The department confirmed that the investigation already has a preliminary suspect. An operation has been launched in the city to apprehend him.
