Iliyan Filipov was born on 31 March 1973 in Plovdiv. He completed his studies in "Mechanical Engineering". He subsequently became one of the two co-founders and owners of the company PIMK.
This structure is one of the largest transport and logistics companies in Bulgaria. According to Euronews, the holding is among the top ten in Europe. It unites eight companies, and their area of activity includes freight and rail transport, construction, freight forwarding, real estate, as well as the operation of concrete plants and quarries.
In addition to business, Filipov was known in the sports environment. In June last year, he became the owner of football club "Botev" (Plovdiv), which competes in the top division of the Bulgarian championship.
