So-called "Prime Minister of the DNR" Andrii Chertkov stated that eliminating the consequences of the shelling of energy infrastructure in occupied Donetsk will take between one and two weeks. According to him, the damage is significant, which determines the duration of the repair work.

Chertkov noted that residents of the Kyiv district are actively inquiring about the situation with electricity supply. He emphasised that the operation of the energy system determines the provision of utility services, the functioning of communications, and water supply.
