Air raid alert in Kyiv sounded after missiles hit: possible issues with US intelligence data

Threat alert arrived late

According to monitoring channels, the air raid alert in Kyiv was declared only when Russian missiles had effectively reached their targets. This situation was reported by the Ukrainian military public channel “Mykolaivskyi Vanyok”.

The reason for such a delay is cited as the lack of information about the launch of enemy projectiles. Although there is no official confirmation that this incident is directly linked to changes in the transmission of US intelligence data, this version is being discussed.

Link to the possibility of US intelligence support cessation

Ukraine receives information about the launch of Russian missiles thanks to intelligence data from the United States. Previously, media reported that Washington allegedly threatened to stop transmitting such information to Kyiv if President Volodymyr Zelensky did not agree to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries.

According to these reports, the head of state does not accept such a condition. Instead, he demands that Russia stop attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

Status of intelligence support remains unknown

Currently, there is no official information that the US has already stopped transmitting intelligence data to Ukraine. Therefore, at this stage, there is no confirmation that the late declaration of the air raid alert in the capital is a consequence of possible changes in US intelligence support.
