The threat alert in the capital arrived late. The cause is cited as a lack of launch data, although a link to US intelligence has not been confirmed.

Serhiy Beskrestnov, a presidential adviser of Ukraine who uses the callsign "Flash", responded to widespread assumptions regarding the causes of the delayed air raid alert declaration in the capital. He questioned the version that the delay in warning about the evening missile strike on Kyiv was caused by an alleged cessation of the transfer of American intelligence data.
In his message, Beskrestnov emphasised:
«Це вже не перший випадок, коли запуск С-400 не фіксується розвідувальними службами наших партнерів. Є певні нюанси. Не варто робити поспішних висновків» ("This is not the first case where an S-400 launch is not detected by the intelligence services of our partners. There are certain nuances. It is not worth making hasty conclusions").
Thus, the presidential adviser drew attention to the fact that the absence of a timely warning about a missile launch does not necessarily indicate a cessation of intelligence support from the US. He stressed that such situations had occurred before, so it is not worth making hasty conclusions without taking all circumstances into account.
Currently, there is no official confirmation that the United States has stopped transferring intelligence information to Ukraine. The reasons for the delayed declaration of the air raid alert in Kyiv require further clarification and analysis.
