Karachentsov diagnosed with cancer progression

Famous actor Nikolai Karachentsov is seriously ill. The artist has lung cancer. He underwent several courses of chemotherapy in his home country, after which he went to Israel, where he received radiation therapy.

However, the expensive treatment did not yield results. This became clear after the examination Karachentsov underwent recently. The tumour remains active and could start growing again at any moment.

The actor was advised to undergo several more courses of chemotherapy, and the first one has already begun. A decision on further treatment will be made based on the results.

For now, doctors are not willing to perform surgery, considering the artist too weak for it.

Meanwhile, the star's wife, Lyudmila Porgina, is doing everything in her power to pretend that the 73-year-old actor is doing fine and continues to drag her exhausted husband to performances and various events.
