Scandal over Elena Vorobey's entry ban in Kyiv

Famous Russian comedian Elena Vorobey was denied entry to Kyiv yesterday. The performance featuring her was cancelled. The Security Service of Ukraine simply barred the artist from entering the country. Apparently, the reason is the same as in the case of other artists who are persona non grata.

However, the artist decided not to downplay the incident and stirred up a scandal on the internet. From her Instagram page, the show business star spoke about the "atrocities" of the Ukrainian side. According to Elena Vorobey, she was held for four hours without water.

The artist did not hold back her expressions regarding Ukrainian laws and the authorities in general. Kyiv residents also came under fire.
