The Ukrainian food market is losing the largest chain of specialised stores in the premium cheese segment. "Сирне королівство" (Cheese Kingdom), which sells cheeses from various countries around the world, has officially announced the suspension of its operations in Ukraine.

This was reported by representatives of the company's management. According to them, the decision was made under the pressure of a number of critical factors, including significant financial losses, growing competition, and the consequences of systematic enemy attacks.

Impact of the security situation on business

The retailer's top management explained that the company faced a complex of serious challenges. Due to the unstable security situation and constant shelling, the enterprise was forced to close several retail outlets located in frontline regions.

An additional blow to the company's financial condition was the destruction of its infrastructure. In particular, as a result of previous shelling, the chain's head office was destroyed, causing significant material losses.
