Nikita Mikhalkov earns $10 million a year

Famous director Nikita Mikhalkov declared income of nearly $10 million for 2017. His tax return shows total annual earnings of 529 million rubles.

According to Mikhalkov, masterclasses abroad alone bring him $20,000 to $35,000. The artist declined to specify the nature of these masterclasses.

In addition, the director noted that he is the heir to Surikov and Konchalovsky, whose paintings are worth millions.

However, many are convinced that Mikhalkov forgot to mention the true source of his income. If rumours are to be believed, the director is actively laundering state funds together with his relative, Andron Konchalovsky.
