Addiction specialist offers theory on Dmitry Maryanov's death

Famous actor Dmitry Maryanov died a few days ago. Rumours immediately surfaced that the artist had problems with alcohol. It is alleged that he was even undergoing addiction treatment at that mysterious country estate, where he subsequently died tragically.

The chief physician of the Marshak Clinic – addiction specialist Dmitry Vashkin – partially confirmed many suspicions.

The doctor put forward his own version of what happened, based on the course of events and the speed at which they unfolded. Vashkin believes that death could have resulted from alcohol withdrawal – so-called abstinence. Maryanov's severe condition could also have been caused by cardiovascular insufficiency, which is often triggered by alcohol abuse.
