Minister Vysotsky: blockade will prevent export of up to 30 million tonnes of grain

Due to the ongoing naval blockade, the situation in Ukraine's agricultural sector has become critical. This was stated by Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotsky in an interview with Bloomberg.

Risk of losing 30 million tonnes of harvest

According to the minister's estimates, approximately 30 million tonnes of grain harvest may remain unexported this year. This poses a serious threat to the country's economy and the storage of produce.

Limited capacity of alternative corridors

Vysotsky emphasised that existing alternative export absorption routes currently cover only about 45% of the volume required for Ukraine to fully market its produce on external markets.
