Reduced Inflows Due to Unmet Conditions

Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko stated during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada that Ukraine failed to receive $29.5 billion this year. According to him, the cause was the failure to fulfil obligations to international partners.

Criticality of the Situation for the State

The official noted that the figure still needs to be refined to account for the latest tranches. Meanwhile, the volume of funds expected by the end of the year remains very significant.

«Цю суму ще належить скоригувати з урахуванням останніх траншів, але обсяг коштів, які мають надійти до кінця року, залишається дуже значним. Це питання виживання України, і це вкрай важливо» (This amount still needs to be adjusted to account for the latest tranches, but the volume of funds that are due to arrive by the end of the year remains very significant. This is a matter of Ukraine's survival, and it is extremely important), Marchenko emphasised.

Comments from People's Deputies

People's Deputy Zheleznyak, who was present at the session, also quoted the Finance Minister. He conveyed that the situation is under control, but the only thing we cannot control is the fulfilment of our international obligations.
