Doctors update on Karachentsov's condition after car crash

Twelve years after a horrific car accident that nearly cost the life of the famous actor Nikolai Karachentsov, the 72-year-old artist has again been involved in a crash. Yesterday evening, the SUV in which Karachentsov was a passenger collided with a GAZelle truck. The artist's wife, Lyudmila Porina, was driving the jeep.

As before, the film star sustained a head injury. Karachentsov was hospitalised at the nearest hospital with a closed head injury.

Doctors commented on the actor's condition today. According to them, Karachentsov's life is not in danger and he will be home soon.

It is worth recalling that on 28 February 2005, the actor was involved in a car accident after which he spent 26 days in a coma.
