The officer was found guilty of unauthorised modification of information in an automated system.
According to the investigation, the major had access to the Unified Electronic Register of Conscription Candidates, Liable Citizens and Reservists, known as the Obereg system. Using his authority, he resorted to artificially inflating statistical indicators.
The incident occurred in May 2026. At that time, the official unjustifiably made edits to the registration cards of liable citizens who were on the register. The documents contained knowingly false information stating that these citizens had been conscripted for military service during mobilisation and directed to serve in a specific military unit.
In fact, none of these men had been conscripted. The order for their conscription and transfer to a military unit was not implemented, and they were not enrolled in the unit's personnel lists. In addition, he is prohibited for a period of one year from holding positions or exercising authority related to military duty and military service in Territorial Centres for Recruitment and Social Support.
