Konotopsky earned 80 billion hryvnias: financial flows of his drones declassified

Calculations based on transaction data established that the actual revenue of Oleksandr Konotopsky's business empire, which controls the "Strim Techno" and "Skyfall Industries" groups (including the Vampire, Shark, and P1-SUN brands), stands at 70 to 80 billion hryvnias. This figure is derived from the import sum, to which taxes, assembly costs in Ukraine, and an allowable margin of 25% have been added.

Import growth several times over

Although the financial reporting of weapons manufacturers is usually closed, open databases such as importgenius record the export-import operations of Ukrainian companies. According to this data, Strim Techno LLC alone imported goods worth $447 million in 2025. From January to August 2026, this amount increased to $789 million.

When comparing similar periods, the dynamics are also striking: in January–July 2025, the company imported goods worth $197 million, whereas in January–July 2026, the figure was $698 million.

Import scheme via intermediaries

Most components arrive in Ukraine not directly, but through intermediary structures in EU countries. Among the main providers are:

• GLOBAL TRADING TECHNOLOGY sp. z o.o. (Secur Global, Poland), founded by Konotopsky personally;
• D&D GROUP (Poland), where the nominal owner is Vitaliy Anatoliyovych Dolyuk (born in 2000);
• NEXORA GLOBAL (Poland), nominal owner — Oleg Denysovych Riashentsev (born in 1998);
• DMO COMMERCE (Estonia), associated with Denys Mykolaiovych Ovsyannikov (born in 1989), who belongs to the "Citrus" group.

Lobbying for P1-SUN drones

Former Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov bet on the P1-SUN drone, developed by Konotopsky's team. This model is recognised as effective against petrol-powered suicide attack drones, although experts note that it is barely capable of countering jet-powered "Geran-4/5" drones.
