Hennadii Druzhenko: After criticising the authorities, I was urgently transferred to the Rubizh assault brigade

Military medic Hennadii Druzhenko, who heads the "First Volunteer Mobile Hospital", reported his urgent transfer to the Rubizh assault brigade. According to him, this change of position occurred against the backdrop of his public criticism of the authorities' actions.

"Order from above without explanations"

At a parliamentary committee meeting, Druzhenko said he learned about the change in his place of service while on leave. The military leadership informed him that an order had come from above, but no explanations regarding the reasons for such a decision were provided. He was ordered to process the transfer documents within extremely tight deadlines, significantly faster than standard procedures allow.

In a public Facebook post, Hennadii Druzhenko directly linked this decision to his previously expressed criticism. At the meeting of the Military Committee (VSK), he emphasised:

«Я критикував неефективні дії, зокрема президента Зеленського. Я третій рік кажу, що нашою метою має бути виживання України, а не руйнування Росії. Я не вірю, що єдиний спосіб це зробити — перемогти, розчленувати Росію. Я вважаю, що інтереси України в цій війні мають стояти набагато вище за інтереси Росії» (I criticised ineffective actions, in particular those of President Zelensky. For the third year, I have been saying that our goal must be the survival of Ukraine, not the destruction of Russia. I do not believe that the only way to achieve this is to win and dismember Russia. I believe that Ukraine's interests in this war must stand far above Russia's interests), noted the head of the "First Volunteer Mobile Hospital".
