Demi Moore wins Golden Globe

62-year-old Demi Moore won her first "Golden Globe", moving the audience with a heartfelt speech after her victory.

The actress received the award in the "Best Actress (Musical or Comedy)" category for her leading role as Elizabeth Sparkle in the film "The Substance". In her speech, Moore emphasised that she had dedicated more than 40 years of her life to cinema, and only now had her efforts been recognised worldwide.

The star noted that early in her career, she was labelled a "popcorn actress" and her potential was met with scepticism. According to Moore, these doubts affected her to such an extent at one point that she began to lose faith in herself.

"I once believed there was no place for me in this industry. But today I see that perseverance and a love for one's craft can overcome any prejudice," the actress added.
