Fifth humanitarian service office damaged in the region

Today, the office of the Korablevsky district organisation of the Red Cross in Kherson was damaged as a result of an air strike by Russian forces. The incident was reported by the organisation itself.

According to representatives of the Red Cross, this is already the fifth facility of their structures in the Kherson district to be damaged as a result of hostilities.

Humanitarian activities continue despite destruction

The Red Cross emphasised that some organisational units have already relocated to other locations but continue to perform their functions. Work to provide support to the population affected by hostilities is not stopping.

«Ми засуджуємо порушення норм Міжнародного гуманітарного права і зазначаємо, що неприпустимо перешкоджати надавати допомогу постраждалому цивільному населенню» (We condemn violations of the norms of International Humanitarian Law and note that it is unacceptable to obstruct the provision of assistance to the affected civilian population), the organisation stressed.
