Consequences of drone strike in Lviv community

The Russian army carried out an attack on the Lviv region using jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of falling debris, a local resident was injured.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi confirmed information about the incident. He noted that in the settlement of Dubliany, which is part of the Lviv community, a 34-year-old man was injured due to the fall of parts of an enemy UAV.

Condition of the victim and actions of services

According to authorities, the injured person was diagnosed with a shrapnel wound to the right thigh. The man was immediately taken to a medical facility for treatment.

Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kozitsky previously reported on the active operation of air defence systems in the region. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned city residents of the threat: movement of a jet-powered UAV towards Lviv was detected.
