Andrii Pyshnyi continues to lead NBU after NABU searches

Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Andrii Pyshnyi confirmed that he remains in office and continues to perform his official duties. He made this statement following the completion of investigative actions conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Relevance of the case to the regulator's activities

According to the NBU head, the criminal case within which the searches took place has no connection to the functioning of the National Bank or the personal work of the institution's head. Pyshnyi emphasised that no evidence of legal violations on his part or that of central bank employees was found during the investigative actions.

Commenting on the situation, Andrii Pyshnyi stated succinctly: «Продовжую працювати» (I continue to work). He also underlined his readiness to cooperate with the investigation.
