Developing software for the Russian Defence Ministry

Inessa Markova, the wife of former Ukrainian MP Igor Markov, who is on the run, has become the subject of a criminal case for high treason. According to investigation materials, she founded an IT company in Moscow that developed software for Russian state bodies, including the Ministry of Defence and security services.

Use of technologies in combat aviation

In 2023, Markova's company implemented specialised software used in Russian combat helicopters. These include the Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N, and Ka-52, which are actively deployed in the war against Ukraine. These aircraft play a key role in the combat operations of the Russian armed forces.

Seizure of property in Odesa

As part of the criminal proceedings, a seizure was placed on the elite real estate and land plot in Odesa belonging to Markova. These assets were subsequently transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for the Management of Seized Assets (ARMA).
