DPR Deputy Defence Minister Shot Head of Police Department in the Leg

DPR Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Taranenko recently shot the head of the Budennovsky District Police Department of the DPR, Fyodor Tserkovnikov, in the leg because the latter refused to let the minister's girlfriend leave her workplace.

A few days ago, the "Budennovsky District Police Department of the DPR" was visited by the "Deputy Minister of Defence of the DPR, Commander-in-Chief of Internal Troops" Alexander Taranenko, born in 1959, who was registered by the Central Election Commission of Ukraine as a candidate for People's Deputy in the 2012 Ukrainian parliamentary elections on the list of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

Taranenko was dissatisfied with the visit and shot the "head of the Budennovsky District Police Department of the DPR" Fyodor Tserkovnikov in the leg. Before the occupation and the start of his service with the terrorists, Tserkovnikov worked as the head of criminal investigation at the Kyivsky District Police Department in Donetsk.

The motive for the shooting was Tserkovnikov's refusal to let Taranenko's "combat girlfriend" leave her "duty in the investigative and operational group" to carry out more important, purely personal errands.

Currently, Tserkovnikov is treating his leg in one of the hospitals in Donetsk," said Vyacheslav Abroskin, head of the Donetsk Regional Police.
