Fighter from the 40th Battalion Detained for Offering a Bribe

Today, on his Facebook page, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov announced the detention of Maksym Zima, a fighter from the 40th Battalion. The former serviceman, who was unable to return to active duty after being wounded, is suspected of offering a bribe to an official, the chairman of the Dzerzhynsky District State Administration.

However, well-known volunteer and coordinator Mykola Kolesnyk came to the defence of his comrade-in-arms.
