Yuriy Kormyshkin, a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, has been placed under arrest as part of an investigation linked to his wife, People's Deputy Irina Kormyshkina (née Allahverdieva), who is suspected of money laundering. This was reported by journalist Vlad Sydorenko.

Yuriy Kormyshkin, who is also the owner of the agro-holding "Southern Agricultural and Export Company" (LLC "SP PAEK"), has previously received two indictments in other criminal cases.

Irina Allahverdieva's husband, a prominent figure in political circles and a close ally of David Arakhamia, has become the focus of an investigation concerning money laundering. Both are members of David Arakhamia's group.

According to sources cited by the journalist, a bail of 20 million hryvnia is required to release Yuriy Kormyshkin.
